ABSTRACT

This project report entitled the Financial Position Analysis at TulasiSeed Pvt. Ltd., The
main objective of the study is to analyzethe financial position of the company in the process of
identifying strength and weakness of the firm by properly establishing relationship between the
items of the balance sheet and profit and loss account.

The various tools used for the study are comparative statement analysis, common size
statement analysis, trend percentages, ratio analysis, working capital statement, regression
analysis, probability analysis, charts and tables are used for better understanding the profitability,
liquidity and turnover position of company.

Management, creditors, investors and others to form judgment about the operating
performance and financial position of the firm use the information contained in this statement
can get future insight about the financial strengths.

Thus, financial position analysis is the starting point for making plans, before using any
sophisticated forecasting and planning procedures. Understanding the past is a prerequisite for
anticipating future.
