1) We advise that the subject cargo consigned to you is appearing in the manifest of the above vessel. Consignees are requested to obtain delivery order from us against of OBL dully endorsed together with a photocopy of suppliers invoice. Complete contact address/ telephone numbers of person to be contacted must be provided. 2) In the case of prepaid inland haulage containers consignee must submit relevant documents to us before arrival of the vessel to complete the customs formalities to transport the container to I.C.D. All collect charges must be paid prior to movement. 3) As per KPT rules, containers with the status CY/CY will not be destuffed at KPT premises. Consignee wishing to change the status of the B/L must apply in writing one day prior to vessel arrival. Those consignees wishing to amend the status of their B/LS from FCL/FCL or CY/CY to CFS will be required to deposit Rs.25,000/- per TEU, which is refundable after proof of complete clearance of their cargo. 4) Consignees are advised that free time on containers is seven days from date of discharge from the vessel, after the 7th day detention will be charges as per line''s tariff until the container is empty. Furthermore, in the event consignee does not clear the containers within 30 days of landing from the vessel, ship''s agent will be at liberty to destuff the containers holding consignees responsible for demurrage and container rent. The carrier will not be responsible for any loss/damage for the same. 5) Application for survey of cargo are to made within three days of discharge of cargo from the vessel, failing which carrier''s surveyors will not surveyors will not survey goods on "shipper''s Load & Count " basis after the cargo is removed from the landing sheds. 6) Consignees are requested to be present at the time of destuffing of orfer to inspect & witness the condition of seal and the quantity & condition of goods. Carriers will not be responsible for the outturn of shipper''s Load & Count " container
