    The Glycosylated Hemoglobin reported correspond to its Stable portion
    HbA1c. The methodology used to measure is High Performance Liquid
    Chromatography (HPLC).
    The normal range for HbA1c is typically between 4.3 - 5.8%. The American
    diabetes association recomends that a primary goal of therapy should be
    HbA1c <= 7%.
    Any sample with >15% HbA1c should be suspected of having a hemoblobin
    variant.

    MEAN PLASMA GLUCOSE (MPG)
    Mean plasma glucose(MPG) is a linear regression analysis and is more
    accurate for adults than for infants or young children.
    If the average blood glucose results over a three month period do not
    correlate with MPG (+- 15%) an Hemoglobin Electrophoresis is suggested
    to disclose the presence of abnormal Hemoglobins, Sickle cell or other
    blood disorder.
