Plaintiff, Appellee/Cross - Appellant, NANCY GILL, ET AL., Plaintiffs - Appellees, KEITH TONEY, ET AL., Plaintiffs, v. OFFICE OF PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT, ET AL., Defendants, Appellants/Cross - Appellees, HILARY RODHAM CLINTON, in her official capacity as United States Secretary of State, Defendant. ________________________ ORDER OF COURT Entered: November 4, 2011 Pursuant to 1st Cir. R. 27.0(d) On November 3, 2011, the Jewish Social Policy Action Network filed a brief as amicus curiae. The brief is non-compliant because it does not contain the statement required by Fed. R. App. P. 29(c)(5). The statement must indicate whether: (A) A party's counsel authored the brief in whole or in part; (B) a party or a party's counsel contributed money that was intended to fund preparing or submitting the brief; and (C) a person -- other than the amici curiae, its members or its counsel -- contributed money that was intended to fund preparing or submitting the brief and, if so, identifies each such person. In addition, the brief must indicate the source of its authority to file required by Fed. R. App. P. 29(c)(3). Further, the cover of the brief must identify the party or parties supported and indicate whether the brief supports affirmance or reversal. See Fed. R. App. P. 29(c). The signature on the document does not match the name of the ECF filer under whose login and password the document was filed. Therefore, Attorney Andrew M. Fischer must include an electronic signature to the brief. Finally, Attorney Geoffrey H. Lewis and Attorney Andrew M. Fischer must file an appearance form required by Local Rules 46(a)(2) and 12(a). A corrected amicus brief must be filed no later than November 9, 2011. By the Court: /s/ Margaret Carter, Clerk
