HOW TO USE A BAR CODE READER IT3800G

WITH e6 e7 e8 e9 controller

An e6 or e8 controller with V5 software

Reader’s set up :
Scan the following codes respecting the order from 1 to 31

Statement in the marking file with the e8 controller:
The bar code reader sends the variable called BCR.
In the Edit menu, you can create marking line before and after the bar code.
To insert the encoded data in the bar code, put the cursor in the text zone and press simultaneously
the keys and to create a variable called “BCR” (for bar code reader)…

VARIABLE EDITION The length of the variable corresponds to the numbers of

characters in the bar code, which will be taken into

Once the set up is done, save the file, then switch to the
marking mode by pressing .

The bar code reader sends a variable called BCR.
In the Edit menu, a line may be inserted before and after the bar
code.
To insert encoded data in the bar code, put the cursor in the text
zone and press simultaneously
+ to create a variable that you must call “BCR” (for
bar code reader)…

Tests :
Codes for reading tests and transfer to the BCR of the controller.

Marking :

Scan the bar code, so the information with in the bar code appears on the controller screen.
⇒ Press the trigger of the bar code reader.
