COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This is a theoretical course designed to provide fundamental knowledge of mathematical
concepts required for technical courses. It includes topics on the real number system,
integer and rational number exponents, polynomials, factoring, complex numbers, linear
and absolute value equations, quadratic equations, inequalities, two-dimensional
coordinate system and graphs, introduction to functions, linear functions, synthetic
division, the remainder and factor theorems, and zeros of polynomial functions.
