IDENTIFY EMPLOYEE’S STRENGTHS (3):

- When I think of doing something, the first thing that comes to my mind is what impact this might
have on our students and their learning endeavors. I always put the students' learning needs first.
I work with a large group of students and they have their unique ways of learning. I strive to
further understand the students' individual learning needs and align my efforts to accommodate
their needs.

- I’m a patient individual and dedicate the necessary time and effort to work with and assist
students. Also, I’m a friendly and approachable person and students feel very comfortable
approaching and asking me questions and/or sharing with me their feedback, comments or

cover Level 1, 2 & 3 classes when there has

been a need for. Moreover, I support and work
with a Level 4+ class for one hour and half,
Mon-Thu and teach the class every Friday
from 10:00 am onwards.

Going beyond, I recently helped a student who

was exposed to the risk of becoming
homeless. I involved the site lead and then
escalated it to other concerned departments
and individuals. As an interim arrangement, I
took the student to my home, gave him food
and a place to sleep before finding him a job
and a place to work. In another instance, I was
helping a ‘differently-abled’ student to get off
his car, prepare his wheelchair and helped him
all the way to the second floor to join his
English class.

Continuing my efforts to grow everyday, I

completed my 1:1 mentoring program with
EdConnective and a Burlington English
training which were great experiences.
