Please stand – The people rise and reply: STAND PRIEST: The mystery of faith.
R: We proclaim your Death, O Lord,
R: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands and profess your Resurrection
for the praise and glory of his name, until you come again.
for our good OR: When we eat this Bread and drink this Cup,
and the good of all his holy Church. we proclaim your Death, O Lord,
until you come again.
OR: Save us, Saviour of the world,
PRAYER OVER THE OFFERINGS for by your Cross and Resurrection
At the end of this prayer the people acclaim: you have set us free.
R: Amen. OR: My Lord and my God.
APOSTLES’ CREED
I believe in God, on the third day he rose again from the dead;
the Father almighty, he ascended into heaven,
Creator of heaven and earth, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
(all bow during the next two lines): I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, the communion of saints,
born of the Virgin Mary, the forgiveness of sins,
suffered under Pontius Pilate, the resurrection of the body,
was crucified, died and was buried; and life everlasting. Amen.
