Activities to Do Together
These activities will support and extend your child’s reading and language skills.
• Look at the cover together. Point out the title and the author’s and illustrator’s
names. Ask what the cover illustration says about the story. For example, who

Talk about the setting, characters, and events as they unfold. Discuss how the story
