This standard has been prepared by ECISS/TC 12.
The responsible German body involved in the preparation of this standard was the Normenausschuß Eisen
und Stahl (Steel and Iron Standards Committee), Technical Committee Maßnormen für warmgewalzte
Flacherzeugnisse.
DIN 17350 is the DIN Standard corresponding to EURONORM 96 referred to in clause 2 of the EN.
Amendments
In comparison with the February 1992 edition, the following amendments have been made.
a) Steel desginations have been brought into line with the specifications of DIN EN 10027-1.

b) Tolerances on the thickness of hot-rolled low carbon steel plate/sheet have been specified
(cf. table 2). The previous table 2 has been renumbered to become table 3.
