Writing Guidelines

1. Article has not been previously published in other media and does not contain elements
of plagiarism with the attachment of a written statement from the author
2. Articles must be results of research (field, literature), studies, conceptual ideas and
application of theory, special reports, or book reviews
3. The manuscript is written in size 12pt Times New Roman (TNR), space 1.15 on A4 size
paper and consist of 4000-6000 words, including bibliography and tables.
4. Articles are written in English with a scientific framework format.
5. Abstracts written in English at least 200 words.
6. The citation system using APA Style (body note). We suggest the author use reference
manager software such as Mendeley, Zotero or EndNote.
7. The list of references is written in a way like the following example, sorted
alphabetically. AlFadhat, F. (2019). Ekonomi politik jepang di asia tenggara: Dominasi
dan kontestasi aktor-aktor domestik. Pustaka Pelajar.
8. If there are more than two authors, please include the name of the main author followed
by the name of the next author.
9. The editor will only contact the first author during the editing and review process
10. The script must be sent by online submission.

The Structure of Manuscript


The structure of original research article consists of the following:

1. Title (Font Times New Roman, 16 Pts Bold)


2. Author name (without academic degree)
3. Institution name with institution e-mail (Departmen, Faculty, University, Country)
4. Abstract (written in English, should not exceed from 250 words)
5. Keywords (max. 6 words)
6. Introduction
7. Literature Review
8. Theoretical Framework
9. Methodology
10. Result and Discussion and/or Analysis (provide sub title with italic if any)
11. Conclusion
12. References (Times New Roman, font 12, spacing 1.0)

Citation and Referencing Style


International Students Conferences On Humanity Issues employs American Psychological
Association (APA) Style 7th Edition (font Times New Roman 12, Line spacing 1). We also
suggest that the referenced list is sourced from research journals published in the last 5-10
years, except for sources from classical works.
Please include an in-text citation in case of refer to, summarize, paraphrase, or quote from
another source arranged by American Psychological Association (APA) Style 7th Edition.

Abstract

Abstract is written briefly and factually, covering research objectives, research methods,
findings and conclusions. Abstract are written in one paragraph with one-column format.
Abstract lengths ranging from 200-250 words. In writing abstract, the type of the font is
Times New Roman, the size of the font size is 12pt with one-space row.
Keywords: all keywords should be separated by semicolons; a minumun of three keywords and
maximum is six keywords. (The font size of your abstract must be 11, and line spacing must be 1.15
pt.)

Introduction

Should contain a general background and research questions. In the final part of the
introduction, the purpose of the article writing should be stated.

The introduction of your paper and also other sections using font Times New Roman with the
12 font size. The section headings are arranged by numbers, bold, font Times New Roman,
size 12, and line spacing should be 1.5 pt.

1.1. Sub-heading

The title of sub-heading must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, Italic, line spacing
should 1.5 pt

Literature Review

Previous studies which relevant to the title. Title of heading should be in Times New Roman,
font size 12, bold, line spacing should be 1.5 pt.

2.1 Sub-heading

Title of sub-heading should be in Times New Roman, font size 12, Italic, line spacing must be
1.5pt.
Theoretical Framework

Theory or concept that is used as tools of analysis with clear explanation.

3.1 Sub-Heading

Title of sub-heading must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, Italic, line spacing must be1.5
pt.

3.2 Tables

Table format: font size must be 11, line spacing must be 1.15 pt. After and it must centered. All
tables should be numbered with Arabic numerals. Every table should have a caption. Headings
should be placed above tables, font size 11, left justified. Tables must be embedded into the text
and not supplied separately

Methodology

Explain how the research is conducted, including the types of research, data collection, research
instrument and analytic methods.

Result and Discussions

This part consists of the results and researchers is discussed. The results obtained from the
research have to be supported by sufficient data. The result must answer the research questions
that have been stated in introduction.

4.1 Sub-heading

Title of sub-heading must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, Italic, line spacing must be1.5
pt. Spacing must be 12 pt. (before and after).

Conclusion

This is the final part containing conclusions. The conclusions describe the answer of the
purpose of the research.
5.1 Sub-heading

Title of sub-heading must be in Times New Roman, font size 12, Italic, line spacing must be1.5
pt. Spacing must be 12 pt. (before and after).

Bibliography

All the references which refer in the article must be listed in bibliography. Bibliography
should contain references from premier sources (scientific journal and contain at least 80% of
whole bibliography). It must be published not earlier than 10 years. Each article contains at
least 15 reference bibliographies. We recommend the authors to use Mendeley

For references, the author should follow the APA (American Psychological Association) style.
Sort the reference list alphabetically. Use hanging indent (1 cm). The font size must be 11, line
spacing must be 12pt.
