CAREER OBJECTIVE
To obtain a position that shall enable me use my strong organizational skills, award winning
educational background and ability to work with people in an organization with an ambitious and
focused team. Moreover, work in an organization that believes in being the best in the turbulent and

EXPERIENCE
October 2022 to August 2023: The National Treasury and Planning

 I contributed to the framework that sets out procedures that were used in shareholders and
public participation in national budget processes.

 I worked on programme performance reviews (PPRs) for programmes done in the fiscal year
2020/21.

 I was involved in policy analysis in the process of developing the policy framework supporting
the Medium-Term Budget for 2022/23 to 2024/25 focused on the theme “building back better,”
which targeted economic recovery programmes.

 I worked on the policy of prioritization and allocation of resources with linkage of programmes
based on the priorities of Mid-Term Plan III of the Vision 2030.

 I worked with Sector Working Groups (SWGs) to develop document criteria for resource
allocation within ceilings of costings of programmes and recurrent budget estimates.

 I participated in the review of the Draft Kenya Sovereign Wealth Fund Policy.

 I was involved in the preparation of Labor-Management Procedures (LMP) document for


Kenya Covid-19 Recovery in the context of Supporting Access to Finance and
Enterprise Recovery (SAFER) Projects.

 I participated and contributed to the development of explanatory memorandum for the public
finance management (Covid-19 emergency response fund) regulations, 2020.

November 2020 to August 2022: International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology

 I was involved in the project and researchwork on climate change impacts on ecosystem
services and food security in eastern africa (CHIESA)

 I researched on SAFSE (search for trade-offs between production and other ecosystem)
services provided by tropical agroforestry systems to support in the project take off as guided
by the donor AIRD (French Inter-institution Agency for Research and Development) policies.

 .I worked with lead partners; Jimma University , Ethiopia, Pangani Basin Water Board
(PBWB) , Tanzania, Taita Environmental Research and Resource Arc (TERRA), Kenya and
University of Helsinki, Finland in the Adaptation for Food Security and Ecosystem
Resilience in Africa (AFERIA)

 I contributed in the development of Strategy for Managing Invasive Species in Africa (2021–
2030) policy brief.

I was deployed at the Financial and Sectorial Affairs department during which I worked on;

 The Government proposed Cooperatives Policy.

 Bilateral Trade Agreement (The post-AGOA Kenya- USA Trade agreement and also Kenya-
Barbados Trade Agreements).

 Integration of Digital Finance in COMESA states.

 Involved in the implementation of the SDGs in the context of policy challenges and options
generally and specifically in Kenya.

 Consolidation of comments from county consultations on proposed Public Finance


Management (Social Assistance Fund) Regulations, 2019, pursuant to statutory Instruments
Act, 2013.

August 2019–KNBS (Kenya National Bureau of Statistics)


 Worked as an Enumerator in 2019 Kenya Population and Housing Census from 14 August to
31 August.

November 2018-SUEU (Students’ Union of Egerton University)


 Participated in the SUEU elections where I was a commissioner assigned from the Dean of
Students’ office to oversee the students’ union elections, 28 October 2018.

August 2017–Polling Clerk–IEBC

 I prepared the polling station for polling day. I did sets up and demarcates the polling station.

 I ensured the polling place is clean and tidy; and the polling booths are set up.

 Verification of the voter’s name and ID (and voter’s card number) in the voters’ register;
identification of a voter electronically.

 Issued ballot papers to voters; marked voters to show that they have voted.

 I ensured the security of election materials under my custody.

 I put up signs, statutory notices, and voter instructions, and made sure they are visible.

 I ensured that voters vote in secret and place their ballot papers in the (correct) ballot box.
