    iTEP exams from home

    - iTEP will allow examinees to take the iTEP Academic,


    Business and Slate certification exams from the comfort of
    their homes.
    - Examinees must comply with strict security measures which
    will define the validity of their exam.
    - iTEP takes zero tolerance measures against plagiarism or
    attempted plagiarism in its exams; Each evaluation taken is
    rigorously reviewed by expert evaluators.
    - Licenses uploaded to the administrator platforms already have
    the new FotoSure, which takes photos every minute in each
    section of the exam.

    Preparation for the exam
    1. Steps to download the exam administration
    application.
    - Open the Google Chrome browser
    - Enter the following link:
    www.besexam.com/download.php
    - Download the application for Google Chrome (takes
    approximately 1 minute).
    - Open the iTEP Chrome program and perform the technical test.

    Technical Check
    - Start in “CLICK TO BEGIN”
    - The internet speed must be at least 1000 for the exam to take
    place without any problem.
    - An audio must be heard first in the Audio Player section, it will
    be played until they indicate that it is heard correctly.
    - In the Voice Recorder section you must record with the headset
    microphone, the recorded audio will be played automatically.
    - The camera must be activated, otherwise the exam cannot be
    administered.

    Security Protocols
    - The application will take photos in each section of the exam, it
    is mandatory that the camera be located in front of the
    examinee, otherwise the exam will not be graded.
    - Taking approximately 120 photos, iTEP evaluators will rigorously review each
    one.
    - In all photos, the examinee must be seated facing the screen. If at any time
    the examinee stands up and does not appear in the photo, the exam will be
    cancelled.
    - The use of electronic devices is prohibited. If in the photos taken by the
    application, the examinee is seen using cell phones, smart watches or tablets,
    among others, the exam will be cancelled.
    - The application will detect plagiarism or attempted plagiarism, in case the
    examinee tries to open another browser or translator when taking the exam.

    Security Protocols
    - The examinee must take the exam in a place that is illuminated and
    does not cover their face; if possible, take the exam with a white wall
    in the background.

    - The examinee must have their face free of objects that prevent total visibility, such as
    caps, sunglasses, scarves or face masks.

    - The consumption of food or drinks is not permitted during the exam.

    - The use of a sheet of paper and a pen to take notes is allowed; this is the only thing
    that examinees can have when taking the test.

    - Plagiarism in the exams or attempted plagiarism will void the exam and the examinee
    will not be able to retake any iTEP test in the future.

    - *For MAC computers you should not use the Safari browser, instead, you can use
    Edge, Chrome, Firefox or Internet Explorer, the same recommendations must be
    followed but to enter the exam you must enter through: www.besexam.com
