    I. SITUATION OVERVIEW

    February 15, 2023


    Ronda along with other municipalities in Southern Cebu, was among the affected areas by the LPA (Low
    Pressure Area) with its scattered moderate to heavy rain showers.

    At February 16, 2023, between 1300 - 1400 hours, a Victoria Poligrates, a resident from Purok Camote,
    Barangay Malalay, Ronda, Cebu reached the office of a landslide situation after the heavy downpour of rain
    in the area.
    II. EFFECTS

    - Removal of Smaller Debris
    - Dispatched Heavy Equipment Vehicle (Backhoe)
    Continuous Monitoring of the affected part of the hill

    VI. Issues
    1. Road access is damaged
    2. Larger part of the hill might also give up anytime upon another heavy downpour
    3. Area is in need of further assessment
    4. No other access road from Purok Camote to Barangay Malalay Proper
