    Material:
    Circulo Yarns – Apolo Eco 8 (Worsted – 156 m/171 yds – 200g/7 oz) 1 ball in
    #8001 (white)
    Crochet hook 5 mm/H
    2 plastic rings (2” diameter)
    2 metal hooks to hold hammock under cabinets as shown in the picture
    Scissors and tapestry needle

    Stitch glossary and abbreviations:


    stitch: st
    make: mk
    skip: sk
    chain: ch
    slip st: sl st
    single crochet: sc
    elongated dc (edc): Yarn over, pull through the chain (3 loops on the hook),
    yarn over, pull through 1 loop, (3 loops remain on the hook), yarn over, pull
    through 2 loops, yarn over, pull through the last 2 loops.
    V-st: 1 dc, ch 3, 1 dc in the same base st
    Shell st: (3 edc, ch 3, 3 edc) in the same base st.
    end of row/rnd: eor.

    This is an easy project that can be finished in an hour, with no sewing


    necessary. Length can be adapted to the size you want. I use this
    elongated dc (see glossary st) but you can use treble crochet too.

    Crochet back and forth. Ch 3 to start rows are counted as 1 dc.

    Cover ring with 9 sc. Turn.

    R1: (ch 35, 1 sc into next sc) 8x, ch 15 = 8 loops + 15 chains. Turn.

    R2: 1 sc into first ch loop, ch 3 + 2 edc (see glossary) into the same loop, 1
    Shell st (see glossary) in the next 6 chain loops, end with 3 edc into last
    loop. Turn.

    R3: ch 3, 2 edc, (1 V-st (see glossary) in each Shell ch space, ch 3)6x, end
    with 3 edc.

    R4: ch 3, 2 edc, (1 Shell st into V-st ch space)6x, end with 3 edc.

    R5 – R14: Rep R3 and R4 for more 10 rows (approx. 12” = Pattern without
    chain loops x 13.75” width). Note: you can make it longer or shorter.

    R15: ch 35, 1 sc between first Shell st and 3 edc, (ch 35, 1 sc into Shell ch
    space)6x, ch 35, 1 sc between last Shell st and 3 edc, 2 sl sts into edc of row
    below, ch 15 = 8 loops + 15 chains. Turn.

    R16: join the other plastic ring: 1 sc into plastic ring, *yo inside ch loop, 1 sc
    into ring* rep from * to * until all loops are gathered. Fasten off and weave
    in ends.

    Insert 2 metal hooks into cabinets and hang your fruit hammock.
