III. RATIONALE:
Senior High School is a crucial stage in a student's academic and personal development.
Achieving a balance between academic responsibilities and personal growth is essential during this
time. To support learners in this transition, a positive and supportive environment is necessary to
build a strong sense of community and camaraderie among students, teachers, and staff.
Conducting an acquaintance party is an opportunity for learners to get to know one another
in a relaxed and informal setting. It encourages the formation of new friendships, helps break down
social barriers, and promotes a sense of belonging within the school. Moreover, it serves as a
platform for students to engage with their peers and teachers outside of the classroom, building trust
and mutual respect. Through collaborative activities, showcases of talent, and other interactive
experiences, the event enhances the overall student experience, making the journey through Senior
High School more enjoyable and fulfilling.
IV. GENERAL OBJECTIVES: To welcome and create opportunities for Senior High School

X. PROGRAM ACTIVITIES
1. THEMED COSTUME CONTEST
The theme of the acquaintance party is inspired by BINI, a Filipino girl group formed in 2019 and
widely known as the "Nation’s Girl Group" and "Queens of Synchronicity and Harmony." The students
will be grouped into six based on their strand, and their attire during the program will be inspired by the
style or outfits of BINI in the songs assigned to them:
4. BINI BUNI
Each group will send 2 representatives to play, male and female. The game will follow
the rules in playing hephep hurray only that the players will use the words, Bin, Buni. A host will
put a microphone in front of a contestant's face and say "Bini" while clapping hands together
below their waist, then the microphone will be put to another contestant's face saying "Buni",
raising hands in the air. This will be done continuously. If a contestant makes a mistake, he/she
will be out of the game. This is a last-person standing game. The one who lasted the longest won.
7. HUMAN BINGO
Bingo cards will be made with various traits or experiences in each square (e.g., "Has
traveled to another country," "Can play a musical instrument," "Loves spicy food"). The cards
will be distributed and participants circulate, asking each other questions to find individuals who
match the traits listed. When they find a match, they mark off that square. The goal is to fill the
entire card. The first person to achieve their goal shouts "Bingo!" and wins a small prize.
8. SHOUT OUT
During the break and socialization period, the students can write messages dedicated to a
certain person and this will be read by an SSLG Officer.
9. PHOTO BOOTH
The SSLG will prepare a photo booth where students can take pictures with their friends
and have a remembrance for the acquaintance party.
