occurred on the 28th of May 2024. I kindly request a tourist visa to facilitate my travel.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

My higher education journey began at the Polytechnic Ibadan, Oyo State where I obtained a
National Diploma (ND) and a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration and
Management. Professionally, I worked as an HR assistant at Yongxing Steel Company in Benin
City, Edo State, Nigeria from 2016 to 2019. Afterwards, I traveled to Dubai on an employment
visa where I joined Transguard Group LLC by January 22nd, 2020, as a Kitchen Steward, an
affiliate of Atlantis Hotel Palm Jumeirah Dubai. During the pandemic year in April 2020, my
employer, Transguard LLC got a contract to ease COVID-19 stay back home and I worked

Dubai Airport Terminal 2 and was promoted to the Aviation Industry Department. By November
of the same year, I got promoted to the position of Customer Service Agent at Marhaba Dubai

country, Nigeria. After my visit to Nigeria, I resumed my work as a Storekeeper Assistant in
terminal 2 till October 2023 when I got promoted to the position of a Special Handling Agent, I
have worked in this role till present.

PURPOSE OF VISIT
My purpose in seeking a tourist visa to Canada is to embark on a journey of relaxation away
from the normal routine of work and home life. Also, I intend to use this opportunity to spend
quality time with my wife as a new couple and to tour Canada during the Christmas holiday. I
have chosen Canada for my much-anticipated vacation because of its remarkable tourist
destinations.

Personally, traveling is a way to see the world, gain exposure, refresh, and reignite my marital
bond. I eagerly want to use this opportunity to explore Canada with my spouse particularly our
wedding to spend our honeymoon in Canada. After researching the country’s tourist potential
and amazing landmarks, I would like us to explore Canada and benefit from its historic culture.
Given that I can afford a short-term vacation, I would like to spend ample time with my wife by
touring and exploring Canada. Generally, I am intrigued by the amazing tourist destinations in
Canada, coupled with the mind-blowing facts about the country as I have seen on the internet, I
am enthusiastic about visiting Canada.

Canada is considered one of the top tourist destinations in the world. It would be an exciting
opportunity to spend the Christmas vacation with my wife in Canada. I hope to experience an
amazing vacation in Canada and return to my country of residence thereafter.

TRAVEL ITINERARY
Please see our carefully planned a detailed travel itinerary in Canada:

We plan to arrive in Canada on 22nd December 2024. On arrival to Canada, we would proceed
to our pre-booked hotel.

A 14-day hotel reservation has been made at Filmores Hotel, 212 Dundas Street East, Garden
District, Toronto, ON. Our Check-in time is Saturday 22nd December 2024 from 12:00 to 6th
January 2025 until 12:00.

We have made plans to visit the Niagara Falls, Whistler, the Royal Tyrell Museum Entrance, and
Toronto’s CN Tower, as my wife and I are great lovers of art and architecture. To make our visit
a more memorable one, we would visit, about two historical sites in Toronto and take some hours
in one day to visit the mall. Finally, we plan to end our vacation by exploring Toronto Islands.

Our planned departure date is on 6th January 2025.

FINANCIAL PLAN FOR MY VACATION IN CANADA

I declare that I am financially capable of sponsoring our planned visit to Canada. I have saved a
considerable amount of money from my monthly remuneration from my job in the UAE. I
successfully funded my previous visit to Ghana, Our recent wedding ceremony, and continuous
stay in the UAE. Additionally, as a shareholder in my brother’s company, Alutech Cladding
Systems Limited, my brother, Mr. NWABUNKA DAVID OKECHUKWU has pledged to offer
additional financial support for my planned vacation.

He is a successful Business Entrepreneur who deals with aluminum composite that deals with
cladding, roofing, office partitions, and windows. His company generates enough income to fund
and sustain our trip to Canada. When writing this letter, he has over NGN 25,438,713.96 in his
Bank, equivalent to CAD 22,329.33 (1 CAD = 1,139.25) Furthermore, I have the sum of NGN
17 million available in my personal bank account which is the equivalent of $15,116.11CAD to
cover our travel expenses and vacation expenses during our visit to Canada. The funds in my
account are proof of my financial capacity to fund a vacation to Canada for me and my spouse.
We will be responsible for our accommodation, transportation, meals, vacation expenses, and
any other associated costs. I humbly request that you review our finances and grant us a visa to
visit Canada.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC AND HOME TIES

Our primary purpose of visit to Canada is genuinely to enjoy a honeymoon and Christmas
vacation. I plan to return to the UAE with my wife once our two-week vacation period has
elapsed. I understand the importance of strong socio-economic and home ties to our home
country and country of residence, we have established significant home ties in the following
ways:

1. My job as a Special Handling Agent is a lucrative one in the UAE as I currently hold an
employment visa to work in the country. Having worked at the Dubai Airport Terminal as a
dedicated staff, it is expedient that I return to oversee my duties. I am passionate about my job;
therefore, I do not intend to extend my stay in Canada.

2. I am newly married to my wife, Nabisubi Maria Antonia and we have started our lives in the
UAE. It is more convenient and affordable for us to build a family in the UAE than in Canada, so
I wish to return to the UAE immediately after my vacation.

3. I have a landed property with a residential building on it worth 31 million naira. It is located at
Orisa Ajibade Village, Olorisa Oko area, Moniya, Ibadan, Oyo State. These are assets bind me to
my home country, Nigeria particularly as I do not plan to sell or lease any of these properties.

TRAVEL HISTORY AND VISA DENIAL.

I wish to bring to your attention that I have previously applied to the United Kingdom from
Nigeria, and I currently reside in the United Arab Emirates. I have been previously denied a visa
to visit the United Kingdom due to a lack of funds in 2010 and also in Canada in 2023. This is
my second attempt at applying for a Canadian visa.

The reason for my Canadian visa denial was stated by the GCMS information form that the
consular is not satisfied that I have a creditable purpose for visiting Canada and that my purpose
of travel is poorly documented. To address this, I have stated clear reasons why I want to visit
Canada, which is centered around a honeymoon for me and my spouse and a vacation that I can
afford. I have also ensured to provide well-documented purposes of travel including my
supporting documentation like a travel itinerary, return flight tickets, bank statement, NOC -
(Non-objection Certificate) that says the Company is aware of our traveling, and letter of
explanation, etc.

I have remained a law-abiding resident of the UAE and I have never violated the conditions of
my visa. I would like to assure you that I intend to return to my country of residence after my
visit.

HEALTH INSURANCE
I am in good health and my wife is healthy, and we have remained free from major health issues.
I have planned for an appropriate health insurance coverage for us during the entire period of our
stay in Canada.

CONCLUSION
I kindly request you to consider my application for a Canadian Tourist Visa. I assure you that I
will comply with all immigration laws and regulations. I am fully aware that this visa does not
grant me permission to work or live permanently in Canada and I will depart from Canada before
the expiration of my authorized stay.

I eagerly look forward to the opportunity to explore Canada and create lasting memories during
my visit to the country with my spouse.
Yours Sincerely,
David Austine Kelechi,
