Go North East have teamed up with Blyth based Phoenix Taxis to give its

partnership of its kind in the region.
The development is part of a series of improvements to the Bargain
Bus services. A further enhancement includes the addition of two new
routes, one of which is the X44, that travels to Morpeth via Stannington
station and Stobhill. The other is the X45, which goes to Ashington via
Stannington village, Loansdean, Morpeth and Pegswood. Both operate
from Newcastle's Haymarket Bus Station and will provide a half hourly
service to Morpeth.
Additionally, low floor Plaxton bodied VDL SB220 single deckers have
been introduced for most journeys on the routes. Brand new bargain fares
are to be offered, with a £4 day and a £14 weekly ticket available.

Mobility Choice appoint new
Executive Director
The charity behind the Mobility Roadshow, Mobility Choice, has appointed
Jacqui Jones as Executive Director, extending her current Operational
Management role. Her appointment follows the retirement of Jan
Gethings.
On being appointed, Jacqui said, 'More than ever, it is important for
exhibitors to choose reputable events that deliver cost effective exhibitions
together with the all important target audience. I also believe there are
excellent opportunities for the charity to extend its remit with the
development of new projects in conjunction with appropriate partners and
