Why Citizens United MUST End!

The Right to be Free You have the right to be free; from tyranny, free from dogma, free from doctrine and from indoctrination. You have the right to make your own choices with regards to every aspect of your own life so long as your choices do no harm or infringe upon the freedoms, safety or security of others. In 2007 the American economy went into free fall. By 2011 enough people had been negatively affected, (had their homes foreclosed on, or lost jobs because of the depression [yes, it really HAS BEEN a Depression not the simple recession that media spin-doctors have labeled this economic downturn]) that they began a movement called the Occupy movement. The sides of the playing field were labeled the 99% or the 1%. The 99% ers are those who suffered at the hands of the depression. The 1% ers are those who profited from it. I may use the above descriptors from time to time. The year of this writing is 2012, the place, the United States of America, the problem, the systematic destruction of individual liberties, freedoms, securities and personal sovereignty. The most recent culprit is, the American Taliban, also known as the Tea Party, Religious Right, or Right Wing Republican.

I am not an expert on the constitution, but I am an expert in belief in personal potential and the inalienable rights that every living creature SHOULD have. The preamble to the United States Constitution reads as follows: We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. And the first statement made in the Declaration of Independence reads: We hold these truths to be selfevident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. The only flaw in either of the above statements is that in the Declaration of Independence, our founding fathers didnt specify WOMEN as well. Ill grant that it was a product of the thinking of the times and forgive that oversight, for the time being. In 2010 the United States Supreme Court ruled in the case Citizens United Vs. Federal Election Commission stating that corporations essentially have the same rights as people, but none of the culpability. This judgment is the beginning of the end of America. This judgment is the reason America and the Democratic Experiment will fail.

Our founding fathers and all those who fought to create this nation; and free it from the tyranny of those who would suppress its citizens; as well as those who have proudly and gladly sacrificed so much so that we all may enjoy continued freedom and security, have all now done so in vain. For those who dont understand exactly what the problem is with the Citizens United judgment, heres a quick primer. Citizens United gives Corporations (like a particular Christian Wrong Wing Billionaire Brothers Industries and any of its smaller corporations that exist under their umbrella) the same rights as a living sentient human being. (In particular when it comes to contributing as much money as it wants to getting any political candidate it wants on the ballot and maybe elected to an official position. This would be like a particular helmet haired 1% ers corporations spending hundreds of millions, maybe even a billion or so dollars to get his brother *George [as far as I know there is no brother named George*] elected to office, so long as George* pretends he doesnt know what Helmet Hairs companies are doing or what kinds of lies and misinformation theyre spreading about the candidate running opposite George*.) Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney was quoted ardently defending the CU decision stating, Corporations ARE people my friend! You can find it on Youtube.

As a friend of mine frequently likes to say, The day I can shoot one, is the day I believe corporations are people. Another thing about the C.U. ruling is that the corporations dont have to identify themselves, they create wholesome sounding names for themselves like, American Family Association who claim their agenda is to spread so-called Christian values, but who actually promote exactly the opposite, eschewing hatred, bigotry and intolerance at the very least. In 2010 the Southern Poverty Law Center listed the American Family Association as a hate group. Some of the behaviors they deem inappropriate or abomination may range in scope from a woman wanting to obtain birth control or have an abortion to watching Madonnas Like a Prayer video. Or being LGBTQ or being gay and wanting the same rights as any heterosexual already has. Please educate yourself on all the ways the American Family Associations hate has already changed the way many businesses actually do business. Look em up on Wikipedia. Going back to Citizens United and the impending Corporatocracy, think about this; anyone can form a corporation. This includes John Doe down the street who wants to Incorporate his watch fixing business, to the Catholic Church who can afford to create as many corporations as it wants and through those corporations it creates, (also known as shell corporations; or

corporations with no real assets of their own but may be used to buy all the influence required to put the candidate of preference into office where the puppetmaster [for arguments sake lets say a particular one of Hitlers Youth living in Rome] can then dictate political policy through the figurehead it is trying to put into place.) can now wield political influence over what is supposed to be a DEMOCRATIC nation, NOT a Theocracy. Doing this would demolish the constitutional edict that demands separation of church and state. For those brainwashed masses who argue that America is a Christian nation, it is not. America is a THEIST nation (meaning not one of the founding fathers put a name on any creator-deity if indeed they believed in one at all). So heres a quick summary of how Citizens United will be the fulcrum by which my America was destroyed. Citizens United basically said, Whoever has the most money can get their message out, your voice doesnt count without lots of zeroes behind it.

Now, the Constitution Like I said before Im not an expert on the Constitution, but lets just take a look at the preamble and translate it in the words of an average American citizen. We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. We the People of the United States the vast majority of us who live in this country. 1% interpretation We who have the money, In order to form a more perfect Union to do better than the lands we came from. 1% interpretation to create the perfect fiefdom, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, gonna make some laws that are gonna be applied to EVERYONE of us without bias so we can all live peacefully together 1% interpretation to pick and choose which laws we want to apply to whomever we choose and make sure the 99% dont know what their rights are,

provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare make sure anyone and everyone has someone to represent their interests no matter how rich or poor they are, cause equal justice is good for everyone! 1% interpretation attack other nations while we consider using our own troops on our own people, of course for their own protection, while we sit safe in our ivory towers, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity To make sure we all stay free, in our generation and those to come for all time! 1% interpretation no, just securing everything for ourselves, no one else matters but us, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. all that stuff I just wrote is why were gonna set some common sensical laws that will be applied to everyone! 1% interpretation we can wipe our asses with this cause no one reads it anyway, and we have all the money so as long as we keep the hamsters on the wheel who cares?

That they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, There are some rights that are simply inherent in being a human being. 1% interpretation well tell you what your rights are when we decide if you have any. That among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Everybodys entitled to live in freedom and pursue what makes them happy. 1% interpretation my life, liberty, happiness and bank account are more important than any of yours. Thanks to Citizens United, the Republican party of today is anathema to entire spirit on which the guiding

principles of our nation has been built. Our nations founders have been shamed.

Religion Religion is without a doubt the most destructive element of human evolution. Lets get it straight here, Im not talking about spirituality, Im not talking about believing in a higher power, Im not even talking about not believing in a higher power. Im talking about the institution of organized religion. Im talking about a few ambitious control freaks with enough sycophantic sheep who covet power and abuse everyone within their sphere of influence by pretending to have a direct line or express elevator to some described heaven that no one has ever really been able to confirm exists. These people need to be reminded that theyre just $1.98 in salts and minerals just like the rest of us! If you really want to learn about the origins of our species, any reader with an inkling of honesty would have to admit that it makes sense to go to the FIRST EVER documentation (that were aware of) of our creation. This first ever documentation was written in the first ever written language on this planet, that language is called Cuneiform. The document(s) is/are called The Lost Book of Enki, read it and judge for yourself rather

than accepting the dogma of a grossly edited and mistranslated bastardization of this text. Once youve done the real research, you can make a decision. Or not. As Rush said, If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice. So the crux of the problem with religion comes down to the single power hungry one upon a time, Hitlers Youth living in his Roman fiefdom. While I have no proof, Id venture to bet that this guy (I dont know his name nor care to give him fame) is not just behind Citizens United, but also behind the money paid to the lobbyists who fought for it, and the corporations and cronies who also lobbied for its passage. This is the same person who instructed American nuns to stop works that involved healing their communities (counseling, working on behalf of the poor and disenfranchised), demanding that they instead, focus their attention on making sure that no gays or LGBTQs are served in any capacity by the church. The sycophant Bishops throughout America were brought to testify on the need for WOMEN to obtain birth control. The Bishops are men. When one woman, Sandra Fluke, a law student tried to testify why insurance covered birth control was important for women, she was not allowed to address congress (the congress is currently and was at that time too, held by the Republican party). She was then subsequently,

viciously, verbally slandered by a radio personality. All this was because she dared to voice an opinion about why birth control should be covered by insurance. As many have suggested, perhaps Viagara should not be covered either. Lets level the playing field. Oh wait, congress doesnt want that. There are over 300,000,000 people in the United States. Approximately 51% of them are female. No, congress doesnt want to level the playing field. Which is why the Republican controlled congress has, in the last two years, poked, prodded and pushed in every possible way to strip American women of the right to personal sovereignty, (ie. Control over their own body). Theyre doing everything they can to criminalize a perfectly legal procedure called abortion. Theyre pushing through laws or measures claiming that a fertilized egg is a person and has the same rights as a fully formed human being. Women have been jailed for miscarriages and for attempting to abort unwanted fetuses. Remember, abortion is legal in America. Congress and other Republican representatives are trying to de-fund or shut down Planned Parenthood, an organization that provides a vast array of health services to impoverished women. Yes, some of those services are abortions.

My question here is since when does HIPPA not apply to abortion? Health Information Patient Portability Act is designed to protect patient information and maintain confidentiality. Yet patient records have been stolen from abortion clinics and their personal health information threatened to be released online by the Right Wing brainwashed. Why are these people and organizations not being prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law? Not just for theft but for violation of HIPPA law? How is it possible to justify killing a fully grown man or woman who has spent thousands of hours growing into a productive member of a supposedly civilized society, when they have done nothing more than provide a legal service to a woman? When did a womans womb become public property? Oh yeah, when Citizens United opened the way for shell corporations to buy their way into the law making process. As for the self righteous zealots who believe they know what some god wants, and choose to end a fully formed and productive life; personally, I hope every judgment, cruelty, act of hate or bigotry youve taught or spewed comes back on you three fold.

The fact that this is even a subject up for discussion is evidence that there are theocratic fingers in the political pot. That being the case, if the church wants to get involved in politics perhaps their tax exempt status should be revoked. These same influences are trying to take the theory of evolution out of the public classroom and replace it with creationism. These same influences are telling their children its okay to bully and terrorize, someone who they THINK behaves Wrong for their gender. Lemme get this straight? You PERCEIVE, in other words your brain receives input that you THINK means someone is different than YOU THINK they should be, so its okay to taunt, beat, terrorize, humiliate, harass, and instill fear for their well being into them. By legal definition those behaviors are called Assault and/or Battery, and they ARE SUPPOSED to be punishable by law. So parents, preachers, teachers, and other authority figures are encouraging children to break the law by violating the rights of others based on nothing more than OPINION. Theyre also trying to remove sex education from the classroom, deny the existence of LGBTQ by not addressing gender identity (or worse as one so called preacher in I think it was North Carolina suggested, beat the right gender behavior into em), and of course refuse to teach kids about effective means of birth control other than abstinence.

And while were on the subject of schools, these same Wrong Wing zealots are now able to use public school facilities to teach children that they must commit genocide as the bible dictates, and destroy all those who do not believe as they do. How is this different from suicide bombers or jihadists? Oh yeah, these are HOME GROWN TERRORISTS in the making! So now, parents will need to be sure to sleep with arms nearby just in case their children decide they have to be killed because they voiced a different opinion from the one that was taught to them in an after school program at their local school, a place that children are made to associate with accurate education. Is this just a covert way to get more people to home school their kids so they can de-fund public education altogether? It does make sense doesnt it? And of course, those children who do become indoctrinated to the New Hate are simply providing as themselves, the next generation of sycophantic cannon fodder. I smell a bloodbath on the way.
