Catcher Mike Zunino, the No. 3 overall selection in the 2012 June Major League Baseball Draft, has signed a professional contract with the Seattle Mariners, Executive Vice President & General Manager Jack Zduriencik and Director of Amateur Scouting Tom McNamara announced today. Zunino, 21, was a consensus first-team All-American, the Dick Howser Trophy recipient and Baseball Americas College Player of the Year during his junior season at the University of Florida.
