2. EXPLORING OPTIONS
• What options do you have?
• What do I need to do to gain
these skills?
• What skills do I need?
• Where is work located?
• Are there any gaps?
• How do my skills and interest
match up with these
occupations?
3. MAKING DECISIONS
• What are my best working /training
selections?
• How do they match with my skills, interests
and values?
• How do they fit with the current labor
market?
• How do they fit with my current situation
and responsibilities?
• What are the advantages and disadvantages
of each option?
• What will help and what will hinder me?
4. SETTING GOAL

• Once you have identified your


career path, you will now
classify the steps you need to
take to move towards your
goal. Make an action plan and
chart your course
5. IMPLEMENTING YOUR PLAN

• Putting your plan into action.

you may have to make
changes to keep yourself on
track or set a new direction
when unexpected events
