Introduction
• Bedian Road Lahore is a renowned locality of Lahore, reason
being Bedian Road is burdened with many farm Houses of the
influential elite class of Pakistan specially Lahore.
• . The infrastructure and developments on and near Bedian Road
are enormous Bedian Road is connected to Lahore Ring Road
from one side and have BAMBA WALI ROAD BEDIAN Canal Road
on the other side, Barki Road is also contiguous.
• Because of massive population shifting near Bedian Road the
infrastructure is also being developed by the administrators of
this area, road network is excellent every single amenity is

History Of Bedian Road
• The village of Dera Chahal, named after a historical gurdwara
located in the middle of the village, is being encroached upon
from all sides.
• Located in Lahore district, on the Bedian Road that once
connected Lahore with Amritsar, the village was far removed from
bustling Lahore city not that long ago.
• But the extension of the Defence Housing Authority into the area
has seen the city expand onto the agricultural lands of Dera
Chahal and other nearby villages, some of which have been in
existence for hundreds of years

Weakness
• No approaches of site further except main road
• The main road is single lane i-e 30 feet wide
• As it is the project of the towering building, So the surroundings such as
residential areas can be affected
like blockage of light and wind.
• When there will be a towering building in this site first of all it will affect the
privacy of the residential areas .Moreover there will be the traffic issues
because of no other access rather than the main road

Main road
• EAST of the site there are three marques
located and the peak hours of the marques will
clash the traffic flow of the site of commercial
and residential areas i-e 12:30pm - 1:30pm ,
3:30pm - 4-:30pm , during the day and in
evening 7:30pm - 9:00pm , 10:00pm -
10:30pm
• Lack of natural features on the site and in
surrounding .
• As the distance of site from the ring road is
0.71km and the road is single lane so it will
create the hubbub and agitation on the road
and in traffic.
Strength
• When making a residential complex in residential surroundings it will
not go against the thread of the buildings
• Within a site there is a green patch
• Easy access of nearby residential areas to the commercial building.
• Nearer access to ring road.
• Making a building that will go with the standards of the site i-e the
residential area consist of upper class society so there should be a
building that have enough standards and facilities to engage the
people living around.
Opportunities
 The opportunities for the site should be the area where there
should be the commercial mall which will be suitable for the
residential area in the surrounding.
 The commercial complex may consist of gym ,roof top restaurant
, indoor spa , swimming pool ,indoor games snooker ,table
tennis ,badminton court.
 There should be the vertical gardens within the building that will
create the green spaces and fulfill the lack of green areas within
the site
Threats
• When during the construction of building it will take at least 2-3 years
therefore the residential surroundings can be affected.
• The more the height of the building the less will be the light and wind in the
nearby surroundings.
• Due to the congestion of main road the transportation of the material during
construction will disturb the traffic flow and cause overall agitation.
• Moreover increase the cost and time.
• because of no other access rather than the main road
