to say the retail
giant knows a

branding.
Walmart has an amazing 
careers website—but it’s much
more than that. The company
manages an Instagram account
called @walmartworld, where
they share fun, real-life
employee content from Walmart
locations around the world.
The #TeamWalmart stories range
from heart-warming to fun and
inspiring. They also recognize
different employees and teams
for a job well done—something
that’s sure to catch the attention
of potential job seekers.

Encouraging health and
wellbeing

candidates a gist about the team and how it works. Lastly, Spotify introduces its

Hootsuite, one of the world’s leading
digital marketing tools, does excellent
things in Employer Branding.
 Having a LinkedIn Life or careers page is quite
expensive. Hence, not many companies have it.
However, I believe it’s worth the investment.Most
potential candidates will go to your LinkedIn
page to check out your company and your
employees.
 Employers like Hootsuite took this page to really
show people what is like to work at Hootsuite.
 They showed their employee and office photos.
They presented their most important people. And
they also included a slideshare about their
company’s culture code.
 In case that you wonder what the #BSU stands
for…it’s “Blow Shit Up”!

• Microsoft did a live Facebook event where their recruiters were answering
questions from people interested in careers at Microsoft.

• The catch about this example is that Microsoft took advantage of the
popularity of Facebook live events.

• Facebook notifies all the friends where there is a live event. Microsoft’s
Facebook careers page is followed by close to 600,000 people. So imagine the
reach!
