Merry Christmas

Christmas is Coming

Christmas is coming,
The geese are getting fat,
Please put a penny
In the old man's hat.
If you haven't got a penny,
A ha'penny will do,
If you haven't got a ha'penny,
Then God bless you.
I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day

I heard the bells on Christmas Day

Their oldefamiliar carols play.

And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of Peace on earth, good will to men.

I thought how as the day had come

The belfries of all Christendom
Had roll'd along th' unbroken song
Of Peace on earth, good will to men.

And in despair, I bow'd my head:

"There is no peace on earth," I said,
"For hate is strong and mocks the song,
Of Peace on earth, good will to men."

Then pealed the bells more loud and deep;

"God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail,
With Peace on earth, good will to men."
The First Noel

And to follow the star wherever it went.

Refrain
The first Noel the angel did say
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields as
they lay; This star drew nigh to the northwest,
In fields as they lay, keeping their sheep, O'er Bethlehem it took it rest,
On a cold winter's night that was so deep. And there it did both stop and stay
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel, Right over the place where Jesus lay.
Born is the King of Israel. Refrain

They looked up and saw a star Then entered in those wise men three
Shining in the east beyond them far, Full reverently upon their knee,
And to the earth it gave great light, And offered there in his presence
And so it continued both day and night. Their gold, and myrrh, and frakincense.
Refrain Refrain

And by the light of that same star Then let us all with one accord
Frosty the Snowman
So he said, "Let's run and
Frosty the snowman was a jolly happy soul, we'll have some fun
With a corncob pipe and a button nose, now before I melt away."
And two eyes made out of coal. Down to the village,
Frosty the snowman is a fairy tale, they say, With a broomstick in his hand,
He was made of snow but the children Running here and there all
know how he came to life one day. Around the square saying,
There must have been some magic in that Catch me if you can.
Old silk hat they found. He led them down the streets of town
For when they placed it on his head, Right to the traffic cop.
He began to dance around. And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler "Stop!"
O, Frosty the snowman
Was alive as he could be, For Frosty the snowman
And the children say he could laugh Had to hurry on his way,
And play just the same as you and me. But he waved goodbye saying,
Thumpetty thump thump, "Don't you cry,
Thumpety thump thump, I'll be back again some day."
Look at Frosty go. Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpetty thump thump, Thumpety thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump, Look at Frosty go.
Over the hills of snow. Thumpetty thump thump,
Thumpety thump thump,
Frosty the snowman knew Over the hills of snow.
The sun was hot that day,
Oh christmas tree
Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
Each year you bring to me delight, meaning in the christmas night
Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely

Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, with faithful leaves unchanging

Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, with faithful leaves unchanging
Your boughs are green, in sommers glow and do not fade in winters
snow
Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, with faithful leaves unchanging

Each year you bring to me delight, meaning in the christmas night

Oh christmas tree, oh christmas tree, of all the trees most lovely
I'll Be Home For Christmas

I'll be home for Christmas;

You can count on me.
Please have snow and mistletoe
And presents on the tree.

Christmas Eve will find me

Where the love-light gleams.
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams.
Silent Night

Silent night, holy night,

All is calm, all is bright
Round yon virgin mother and child.
Holy infant so tender and mild,
Sleep in heavenly peace.
Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent night, holy night,

Shepherds quake at the sight,
Glories stream from heaven afar,
Heavely hosts sing alleluia;
Christ the Saviour, is born!
Christ the Saviour, is born!

Silent night, holy night,

Son of God, love's pure light
Radiant beams from thy holy face,
With the dawn of redeeming grace,
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.
Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.
Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snow, in a one-horse open sleigh, (Chorus)

Over the fields we go, laughing all the way.
Bells on bob-tails ring, making spirits bright, A day or two ago, the story I must tell
What fun it is to ride and sing a sleighing song tonight. I went out on the snow, and on my back I fell;
A gent was riding by, in a one-horse open sleigh
Chorus He laughed as there I sprawling lie but quickly drove away
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. (Chorus)
Jingle bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way!
O what fun it is to ride in a one-horse open sleigh. Now the ground is white, go it while you're young
Take the girls tonight, and sing this sleighing song;
A day or two ago, I thought I'd take a ride Just get a bob-tailed bay, two-forty as his speed
And soon Miss Fanny Bright, was seated by my side; Hitch him to an open sleigh and crack! you'll take the lead
The horse was lean and lank, misfortune seemed his lot;
He got into a drifted bank and we got upsot (Chorus)
