transcript and researchers, during analysis, should be able

Creating Categories
Coding will serve as a system to help you to organize
your data. Once you have gone through all documents
and coded them, they can now be gathered into
families of codes or categories. Materials are sorted by
these categories, identifying similar phrases, patterns
and relationships. As you code and categorize the data,
look for the interrelationships among categories. Sorted
materials are examined to isolate meaningful patterns.
