Born: November 5, 1883
Died: October 16, 1952
Studied music composition and harmony at Liceo de
Manila. Unfortunately, he was not able to finish. Founded the
Centro Escolar de Senoritas, Conservatory of Music, and
Buencamino Music Academy in 1930.
Compositions include:
Mutya ng Pasig, Nasaan Ka Irog, Cavatina for Violoncello, and
Magbalik Ka Hirang, Bituing Marikit.

something every man of his kind takes pride of.
•He was named UP Emeritus Professor of Piano, on May 25, 1946. The
nationalistic musician died of heart attack on September 28, 1947.
