    VOLUNTEER TEACHING
    ASSISTANT IN SCHOOL
    INTRODUCTION
     Becoming a teaching assistant takes time and
    determination.
     A teaching assistant plays an important role within a
    school: gives support to the pupils, teacher and the
    school.
     When volunteering as a teaching assistant is
    important to keep in mind that you might need to
    mirror a qualified teaching assistant or teacher in
    order to follow the correct steps of learning inside a
    classroom or the entire school.
    GIVE SUPPORT TO PUPILS
     Be able to supervise and provide support for pupils
    during lessons.
     Bonding with children is essential

     Give feedback to pupils after consulting with the


    teacher.
     Encourage pupils to interact with each other in
    order to implement equality, diversity and inclusion.
     Look after pupils who are ill, injured or upset.

     Active listening

     Maintain a healthy, safe and clean classroom


    environment.
