PERFORMANCE OF THE WORKING STUDENTS IN


BINNOR PANGANDAMAN INTEGRATED COLLEGE

INTRODUCTION


Education plays significant role to design one’s future as a
successful person in life and as a citizen. However, some of the
students encounter uncertain situation in terms on their studies,
that’s why they become a working students for them to continue
reaching their goals in life.
Statement of the problem

1. What are the factors affecting the academic performance of


working student?
2. How do working students balance their time to their work and
studies?
3. How do working students motivate themselves?
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

 Student – for them to inform that this factors affecting the academic performance of working students
can help them to be knowledgeable, and to manage their time in every actions and gain more
confidence in all area of their lines.
 Future Researcher – They can learn about factors affecting the academic performance of the working
students and it will serve as a guide for conducting their own research.
 Teacher – they will be able to understand the situation of working students and help them to cope with
their studies.
 DepEd – this research can provide programs that may help the students, on their studies, they can give
more scholarship to less students suffer on paying their tuition fees.
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION

 The study focused on the problems encountered by working


students of Binnor Pangandaman Integrated College. This study
determined the academic performance of the working students.
RELATED LITERATURE

Working student is not easy, as one researcher said “all


work no play”, life of working student is a serious stage
they think more advance and possible have an experience
that can use for their nearest future.
According to the commission on higher
education (CHED)

 “Dueto financial crisis that’s why they need an extra income”.


Lawyer Julito Vitriolo, officer-in-charge at CHED’s office of the
executive director.
METHODOLOGY

 Itis contained methods used in conducting research, the


population and sampling procedure. It is also shows the data
gathering procedure, the instrumentation, and the data analysis
plan.
POPULATION SAMPLING

The target of the study are the students specifically the


working students in Binnor Pangandaman Integrated College.
Instrumentation
In gathering data, the researcher employ structured
interview which contains questions about the
experiencing encountered by the working students and
their challenges, it can be good or not for them.
Procedures and time frame

 Listedthe working students of Binnor Pangandaman Integrated college


through a Judgmental sampling and need a set an appointment for the
respondents and then proceed to proper interview through record and
analyze the gathering data.
DATA ANALYSIS PROCEDURES

A working students need to have time


management and good planning for their
monthly, weekly, and daily studying activities.
