TOPIC: CREATING A DATABASE
Creating A Database
Aim: To create a database called Doctor and Fill the 5 records

Requirement: Open Office Database

Procedure:
• Open ‘Open Office Database’ software.
• Save the database as YourName_ClassSec_DBMS
• Click on the table object option.
• Select ‘Create Table’ in design view.
• Add the required fields and assign appropriate data types for each field.
• Set the primary key and save the table.
• Enter the required data .

Conclusion: Successfully created a database called Doctor

CREATING QUERIES
Aim: To create and execute SQL queries and observe the results.
Requirement: Open office base.

Procedure:
 Open ‘Open Office Base’ software.
a) Create and execute queries on Doctor table using Design View(any 2
queries )
b) Create and execute queries on Doctor table using SQL View (any 2
queries)

Conclusion: Successfully created and executed SQL queries and observed


the results.

TOPIC: CREATING FORMS
Creating Forms
• Aim: To create a form for the Doctor table
• Requirement: Open office Base
• Procedure:
• To create Form:
• Open Doctor table database
• Click on Form option
• Click the ‘Use Wizard’ to create form option.
• Select the fields by clicking on the field name and ‘>’ button.
• Click next and select the data entry model.
• Click next and select the style in which the form must appear.
• Specify the name of the form and click ‘Finish’
Conclusion: Successfully created a form for Doctor Table

TOPIC: CREATING REPORTS
Creating Reports
• Aim: To create a report for the Doctor table
• Requirement: Open office Base
• Procedure:
To create Report:
• Click on ‘Report’ option.
• Click on ‘Use Wizard to create report’
• Select the fields that need to be included and click the ‘>’ button.
• Click next and select the styles in which the report should be printed.
• Click next and define a name for the report.
• Click Finish.

• Conclusion: Successfully created a report for Doctor Table

TOPIC: CREATING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TABLES
Creating A Relationship between tables
Aim: To create a database called Product details and 2 tables called Product and Sales

Requirement: Open Office Database


Procedure:
• Open ‘Open Office Database’ software.
• Save the database as Product_details.
• Click on the table object option.
• Select ‘Create Table’ in design view.
• Add the required fields and assign appropriate data types for each field.
• Set the primary key and save the tables.
• Create the sales tables in the same manner.
• Add records to both the tables.
• Select the ‘Tools’ option and link the two tables.

Conclusion: Successfully created a database called Product details and two tables called Product and
Sales.

TOPIC : INTRODUCTION TO INSTANT MESSAGING
Aim: Introduction to Instant messaging,
Creating a google talk account
Requirement : Gmail account, download google talk application.
Procedure:
• To launch Google Talk, Click Start > Programs >Google Talk.
• double-click on the Google Talk icon on the desktop if available.
• You need to have a list of contacts that are available for chat.
• If you don’t have any contacts, you can add their Gmail account to your contact list by
sending an invite.
Conclusion : Successfully logged into google talk using gmail account.

TOPIC: CREATING AND PUBLISHING WEB PAGES - BLOG
Aim: CREATING AND PUBLISHING
WEB PAGES - BLOG
Requirement : A blog account, internet connection.
Procedure :
• Open the Web Browser.
• On the address bar type https://signup.WordPress.com/signup/.
• You should now get to a page with the fields Blog address, Username, Password, Email
Address and Language.
• Blog Address: You must provide a unique address to your WordPress Blog. This is the address
which others will use to view your blog.
• Username: You should choose a username for managing this blog.
• Password: Securing your WordPress blog account with a strong password is
important. A combination of uppercase and lowercase letters with some
digits along with symbols would be a strong enough password. You need to enter the
password twice.
• Email Address: You must provide your Email Address here. An activation link will be
send to you from WordPress after you click "Create Blog”.
• Language: You can choose your own language for blogging from the list given.
• Click Create Blog.

Conclusion: Successfully created a blog in Wordpress.com

TOPIC: TYPES OF INTERNET CONNECTIVITY
Aim: Type of Internet Connectivity present in your house
Requirement : To find out the type of internet connectivity present in your house
Procedure: The internet connection can be categorized as wired and wireless.
Dial-up, DSL and Cable internet access are wired connections
3G, Wimax, Wi-fi are common wireless connections available.
Observe the different types of internet connections available and note down your observation in the
observation chart.

Conclusion : Was able to identify and understand the various types of internet connections
used.

TOPIC: ONLINE TRANSACTION
Aim: To demonstrate online transaction using Flipkart
Requirement : Active Internet connection, Web browser
Procedure:
Login to Flipkart account
Select the desired product and proceed to check out.
Select the payment mode (COD,Netbanking,Debit/Credit card ,UPI, Wallet) to buy the product

Conclusion : Successfully demonstrated the online transaction.

TOPIC: ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES
Aim: To demonstrate accessibility features in Windows 10(any 2)
Requirement : Windows 10 OS
Procedure:
Launch the accessibility options :Start >Control Panel >Ease of Access
Select the desired tab,For Example Keyboard,Mouse,Display and Sound
Try the various options under each tab and note the observation.

Conclusion : Successfully demonstrated Accessibility features
