    (R.A. No. 9710)?
    The Magna Carta of Women (MCW) is a
    comprehensive women’s human rights law that
    seeks to eliminate discrimination through the
    recognition, protection, fulfillment, and
    promotion of the rights of Filipino women,
    especially those belonging to the marginalized
    sectors of society.

    What are the specific responsibilities of

    Philippine
    Commission on Overall monitoring and oversight body to ensure the implementation of the law.
    Women (PCW)

    Commission on Shall act as the Gender and Development Ombud to ensure the promotion and protection

    GOVERNMENT AGENCY OR ANY GOVERNMENT OFFICE
    o The sanctions under administrative law, civil service or other
    appropriate laws shall be recommended by the CHR to CSC and
    DILG

    AGENTS OF THE STATE


    o Shall be considered aggravating offenses with corresponding
    penalties depending on the severity of the offenses.
    PRIVATE ENTITY OF INDIVIDUAL

    o The person directly responsible for the violation shall be liable to


    pay damages.
