Caitlin Clark had perhaps her best game of her WNBA career so far, but that wasn't enough to lead the Fever to victory against the Mystics.

Clark became the first WNBA player in history to record at least 25 points, 10 assists, five rebounds, five steals and three blocks in a game, per Across the Timeline. She fell just two blocks short of joining Candace Parker as the only players to record a 5x5 game.

Caitlin Clark highlights vs. Washington Mystics

Clark had yet another masterful performance, but it wasn't enough to down the Mystics. She was on triple-double watch at half time — but while her scoring exploded in the second half, she ended the game a handful of rebounds shy of the feat.

Clark knocked down two 3-pointers in the first half, shooting 5-of-9 from deep for the game.

Another nice find for Clark in the first half saw Erica Wheeler snag the backdoor bucket.

Clark kept the Fever in the game with her outstanding scoring in the second half. She scored 22 of her 29 points after halftime.

She nearly doubled her assist total in the second half, racking up six after posting seven in the first 20 minutes.
