ESPN Production Group Shakeup Sees Stephanie Druley Promoted

ESPN shook up management of its production group, with STEPHANIE DRULEY earning a promotion to run a combined studio and event production group alongside Exec VP/Event & Studio Production and Exec Editor NORBY WILLIAMSON. Druley also will carry the title of Exec VP/Event & Studio Production and will report to Exec VP/Content CONNOR SCHELL. The point of these moves is to have execs oversee all aspects of a sport, from live events to studio programming across linear TV and digital. For example, VP/Production LEE FITTING now will oversee all football programming -- college and pro; live and studio -- across all platforms. Similarly, VP/Production MICHAEL SHIFFMAN will oversee all basketball -- college and pro; live and studio -- across all platforms. Fitting and Shiffman will report to Druley along with VP/Int'l Productions & Operations RODOLFO MARTINEZ and Senior Coordinating Producer AMY ROSENFELD. Williamson’s direct reports will include VP/Production & Content Strategy JILL FREDERICKSON, Senior VP/Production MARK GROSS, Senior VP/Production Business Divisions TRAUG KELLER, VP/Studio Production MIKE MCQUADE and VP/Production DAVE ROBERTS. As part of the moves, Senior VP/Social & Digital Content RYAN SPOON will oversee ESPN.com in addition to ESPN’s digital and social content, while Senior VP/Original Content ROB KING will oversee storytelling across ESPN’s linear and digital properties. JULIE SOBIESKI, VP/Content Business Operations & Strategy, will report to Schell and oversee business operations for the content group.
