1986 (MLB): After giving up 3 runs in the 8th inning, Boston Red Sox ace Roger Clemens suffers his first loss of the season to the Toronto Blue Jays, 4-2. The Blue Jays were +160 road underdogs as Clemens came up one win short of the American League record of 15 for consecutive wins to start a season.


1988 (Tennis): Germany's Steffi Graf wins the 3rd leg of her Golden Slam after defeating Martina Navratilova 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 in the Wimbledon Finals. Graf was a -300 favorite for the match and entered the tournament as the favorite to win the tournament at +160.


2001 (Tennis): In their only professional meeting, Roger Federer ends Pete Sampras' run of 4-straight Wimbledon titles with a 7-6, 5-7, 6-4, 6-7, 7-5 victory in the 4th round. Federer was a +300 underdog for the match as he would go on to lose in the next round in 4 sets to Britain's Tim Henman.


2016 (Tennis): As a 30-1 underdog, #28 seed Sam Querrey upsets #1 seed and 2-time defending champion Novak Djokovic 7-6, 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 in the 3rd round at Wimbledon. Djokovic, who entered the tournament at -121 to win the title, was going for the calendar Grand Slam after winning the Australian Open and French Open to start out the year. Querry would go on to lose in the quarterfinals to Canadian Milos Raonic in 4 sets.
