Midweek USMNT action is here. Let’s get into it!

Monday

No notable USMNT players in action. Mohamed Salah and Egypt visit Guinea-Bissau in World Cup qualifying at 12pm; Czechia also have a friendly against North Macedonia at noon on FS2. Netherlands have a friendly against Iceland at 2:45pm on FS2, and Poland meet Turkey in another friendly at the same time.

Tuesday

  • USA U23 vs Japan U23, 8pm on UNIVERSO, FuboTV (free trial): The Olympic team are gearing up for Paris with this friendly against Japan at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City. This game may be available on other platforms as well, but it will at least be on UNIVERSO and Fubo, if nowhere else.

It’s World Cup qualifying all over the globe: Japan against Syria at 6:14am, and Congo take on Morocco at noon, while Portugal have a friendly against the Republic of Ireland at 2:45pm on FS2.

It is also a Concacaf World Cup qualifying matchday, beginning with Cuba vs Cayman Islands at 3:30pm and wrapping up with an 8pm double feature: the Dominican Republic vs British Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico vs Anguilla. US U19 centerback Stuart Hawkins and the Tacoma Defiance visit Cruz Medina, Oscar Verhoeven, and The Town FC (San Jose’s reserve club) in MLS NEXT Pro at 8pm.

Wednesday

  • Stabæk vs Mjøndalen, 1p: Bob Bradley and Michael Bradley’s Stabæk, featuring multiple Americans including former FC Dallas midfielder Thomas Roberts, are 8th of 16 in Norway’s second division. They host 12th-place Mjøndalen.
  • Eibar vs Real Oviedo, 3p on ESPN+ (free trial): Konrad de la Fuente subbed on for 3 minutes in Eibar’s 0-0 draw with Real Oviedo in the away leg. Now Konrad and Eibar (who are unbeaten in their last 6 home games) can advance to the La Liga 2 playoff final with a win here.
  • USA vs Brazil, 7p: The USMNT look to rebound after their poor showing in a 5-1 loss to Colombia on Saturday, this time with a friendly against another CONMEBOL opponent: the Seleção.

Thursday

Ecuador and Bolivia have a 6am friendly, and Argentine powerhouse River Plate go on the road against Deportivo Riestra at 2pm on Paramount+. Espanyol and Sporting Gijón meet in the La Liga 2 semifinal at 3pm on ESPN+ (if Konrad and Eibar advance to the final, this would be their opponent). In the evening, Brazil’s Flamengo host Grêmio at 7pm on Fanatiz and Sling TV, and Palmeiras host Vasco de Gama at 8:30 (also on Fanatiz and Sling TV).

Friday

  • NYCFC vs Columbus Crew, 7:30p on MLS Season Pass: James Sands, Keaton Parks, and the Pigeons host Patrick Schulte, Aidan Morris and the Crew in this MLS match.

Germany kick off Euro 2024 against Scotland on home soil at 3pm on FOX. Lionel Messi and Argentina meet Guatemala in an 8:30pm friendly on FOX Deportes.
