Anti-Hate Speech Initiative Empowers AANHPI Youth

In the wake of a startling surge in hate crimes against Asian communities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Verizon and Street Law partnered to take a decisive stand by developing a comprehensive curriculum to educate and empower AANHPI youth with the knowledge and skills to confront and counteract the disturbing trend of hate speech and violence in their communities.

The world of human rights and rule of law advocacy mourns the loss of Sameer Jarrah, a distinguished Jordanian lawyer, educator, and unwavering champion for justice, who died on May 20, 2024. Jarrah was a critical ally and partner to Street Law, Inc. and a leading force in designing and implementing numerous rule of law education projects across Jordan.

2024 Supreme Court Summer Institute

June 12-17 or June 20-25, 2024

The application for the 2024 Supreme Court Summer Institute for Teachers is closed. The application for the 2025 Institute will open in October 2024.

Each year we select 60 teachers from a pool of applicants to come to Washington for six days of educational activities that strengthen and expand instruction about the U.S. Supreme Court.

The Institute is funded by and delivered in partnership with the Supreme Court Historical Society.
