Post Malone can now say he's truly a rock star.

The Syracuse-born rapper now has the No. 1 song in America, topping the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the first time with "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage. He previously reached the top 10 with "Congratulations" feat. Quavo earlier this year, nearly two years after his first hit "White Iverson."

According to Billboard, Malone replaced Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," which held the top spot for the past three weeks and fell to No. 2 in the latest chart (dated Oct. 28). Taylor Swift's "Look What You Made Me Do" previously reigned for two weeks after dethroning Malone's tour mate Justin Bieber, who dominated the summer with Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee for 16 weeks at No. 1 with "Despacito."

The new Hot 100 chart, which was released on Billboard.com Tuesday, combines all-genre streaming, airplay and sales data. "Rockstar" debuted at No. 2 three weeks ago, and has topped the Streaming Songs chart three times, pulling in 51.3 million U.S. streams for the week ending Oct. 12, according to Nielsen Music -- despite not having an actual music video yet.

According to a press release, "Rockstar" is also the No. 1 song on the Spotify US Top 200 Chart and The Apple Music Overall Top Songs Chart and recent broke Apple Music's one-week record total for a single song with 25 million streams worldwide. Malone's debut album "Stoney" has also been RIAA certified platinum and he was named the most streamed new artist with over 3 billion streams globally.

"Post is one of the most unique artists I've ever had the pleasure of working with," Republic VP of marketing Marleny Dominguez told Billboard. "He truly treads his own path. It's amazing to see him resonate by just being himself. It's a testament to his individuality and integrity."

The 22-year-old singer-rapper's real name is Austin Post. He was born in Syracuse in 1995 and lived in Central New York until he was 10, when his family moved to Dallas.

"My dad was always playing music," he told radio station Hot 97 in 2015. "Not like playing music, but listening to music. And he put me on everything... Folk and funk and rap. I moved to Dallas and I started making music. So, that's really it. And from then on I just started making what I like. Playing guitar. And writing my own songs. And just making music."

Post, who canceled his New York State Fair appearance this summer to attend the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards, addressed his Upstate New York upbringing on Twitter last year, but told fans he "reps" Dallas.

Post Malone released his major label debut, "Stoney," last year. He's expected to release his followup album, "Beerbongs and Bentleys," soon.
