Update: Missing 74-year-old woman found safe after public asked by Syracuse Police to help find her

Update 6:11 a.m.: Kathleen Fikes, 74, has been found in the city and is in good health, Syracuse police said around 2 a.m. Friday.

The woman was reported missing Thursday after she was last seen leaving her home in Syracuse, police said.

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse police are asking for help finding a missing endangered 74-year-old woman.

Kathleen Fikes was last seen around 1:50 p.m. Thursday, leaving her home on the 100 block of Vincent Street, police said.

She is five foot ten, weighs around 155 pounds and has white hair, police said. She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt, and dark blue jeans.

She was alone when she left and was on foot, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about Fikes whereabouts to call 911.
