Update: Willie Nelson confirmed he will not perform at Friday night’s concert in Syracuse.
The singer said he has been cleared by doctors to resume concerts next week, but will miss weekend shows scheduled Friday at the Empower FCU Amphitheater in Syracuse, Saturday at Jones Beach in Wantagh and Sunday at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J. The health update means he’s expected to appear at upcoming Upstate New York concerts in Bethel Woods (July 6) and Darien Lake (Sept. 17).
