Syracuse, N.Y. -- Madison County landlord Burt Marshall owes more than $90 million to nearly 1,000 people who invested in a promissory note fund that a bankruptcy court trustee has said had “all the hallmarks of a Ponzi scheme.”

His more than 100 rental properties will be sold soon to help pay back what will likely be a very small portion of the money he owes investors in his fund. But will Marshall’s seven-bedroom home in Hamilton be among them?
