England are 2/5 to win Group C

There is an odds-on favourite in each of the six Euro 2024 groups with the likes of Germany, England, Belgium (all 2/5), France (11/20) and Portugal (4/9) all well fancied to top their respective sections.

The bookies see Group B as the tightest group with Spain the 4/5 favourites to finish top, holders Italy at 2/1 and odds of 9/2 on Croatia, who finished third at the 2022 World Cup.

Holders handed challenging draw

The Euro 2024 draw has been relatively kind to England but less so to holders Italy, who are in Group C with Spain and Croatia. However, with up to three teams qualifying from each of the six groups, it could be that all three progress to the last 16.

Spain are the narrow favourites to top the group at 4/5, with Italy 2/1 and Croatia, who reached the 2018 World Cup final and 2022 semi-finals, at 11/2. Albania are the rank outsiders at 25/1.

England are favourites in Group C and one of three nations who are 2/5 to top their groups. Denmark are seen as England’s biggest rivals at 4/1 to win Group C, with Serbia at 8/1 and Slovenia 10/1.

Hosts Germany are another side who are 2/5 with Switzerland seen as their biggest competition in Group A at 11/2. Hungary are 7/1 to top the group while Scotland are just behind them at 8/1.

Belgium are the final side who are 2/5 to win their section while Ukraine are 11/2 to win Group E, Romania are 6/1 and Slovakia are 10/1.

In Group D, France are the favourites to win at 11/20 while the Netherlands are 11/4. Austria and Poland complete the group but are outsiders to top it at 8/1 and 10/1. 

Finally, in Group F, Portugal are 4/9 to top the group while Turkey are 4/1 while Czech Republic are 11/2 while Georgia are 14/1.
