Sky Bet AccaFreeze offer

Sky Bet has recently introduced a new promotion called AccaFreeze, which is specifically aimed at customers who place accumulator bets with five or more selections.

This feature allows you to “freeze” one winning score of your accumulator bet while the game is continuing. If any of the teams you have bet on take the lead, you will have the option to freeze that particular selection.

It is important to note that you can only freeze one selection per accumulator – and once it has been frozen you cannot undo or reverse the freeze.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning that the AccaFreeze feature is not available for multiples with four selections. However, if you include another selection in your bet, making it a five-fold acca, you will be eligible to use the AccaFreeze feature.

Acca pick 1 – Newcastle vs Southampton, Saturday, 3pm

The Magpies face the newly promoted Southampton at St James’ Park in what is set to be an intense atmosphere on Tyneside.

While the visitors had a great season in the 2023-24 Championship, this is set to be a very difficult first match for them back in the top flight.

The likes of Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon are looking to start the Geordies’ campaign with real vigour and looked sharp in a recent 4-0 win over Spanish side Girona in pre-season.

The Saints could struggle away from home. They lost to both the other promoted teams, Ipswich Town and Leicester City, on their travels last term. We are opting for a Magpies victory.

Accumulator tip 1: Newcastle to win @ 1/3

Acca pick 2 – Sheffield United vs QPR, Saturday, 3pm

The Blades host the west Londoners looking for another big performance after kicking off their campaign with two consecutive wins against Preston North End and then Wrexham in the Carabao Cup.

United looked very strong in the victory over Preston and the likes of Kieffer Moore, Gustavo Hamer and Alfie Gilchrist are the core of a very good squad.

Rangers lost their opening Championship game to West Bromwich Albion 3-1, and looked weak defensively. We suspect this could be another tough contest for them.

Accumulator tip 2: Sheffield United to win @ 3/4

Acca pick 3 – Huddersfield vs Stevenage, Saturday, 3pm

The Terriers, who go head-to-head with Stevenage, are looking to immediately bounce back to the Championship.

They started the new League One campaign superbly with an away victory at Peterborough United and will hope to continue that form this weekend.

Stevenage, no mugs themselves, also won on the opening day. But we are backing a victory for the Terriers, given their home advantage.

Accumulator tip 3: Huddersfield to win @ 7/10

Acca pick 4 – Port Vale vs Tranmere, Saturday, 3pm

Vale, who entertain the Merseysiders this weekend, will be looking to continue their League Two promotion push.

They beat Salford City on the opening day of the campaign and looked very capable. Boss Darren Moore has built a strong squad with a good chance of returning to League One.

Tranmere drew 0-0 in their first match and looked weak in front of goal. We suspect that the hosts will be far too strong for Rovers.

Accumulator tip 4: Port Vale to win @ 4/5
