Who is Tom Grennan?

Born in Bedford on June 8, 1995, Tom Grennan started singing at gigs in London at 18 years old.

But his big break came when featured on Chase and Status's 2016 single All Goes Wrong.

His friends encouraged him to pursue a music career after seeing him performing The Kooks at a house party.

In his early music years, he was scouted at a Finsbury pub and offered a record deal with Insanity Records.

Following his success, Grennan was shortlisted for the MTV Brand New Award, performing at MTV Showcase at the London Electric Ballroom in 2017.

The big break for Grennan was being featured on Chase and Status's record 'All Goes Wrong' in 2016.

The song was picked as the Hottest Record on Annie Mac's Radio 1 Show, and he was asked to perform on the station's Live Lounge.

In 2018 Grennan's debut album Lighting Matches' was one of the 10 best-selling debuts that year.

The song Found What I've Been Looking For appeared on the FIFA 18 soundtrack and was used by Sky Sports as the theme song for Super Sunday.

He finally broke into the UK top 10 with his single Little Bit of Love which was released in February 2021 and peaked at number seven.

'Little Bit of Love' was nominated for best song at the 2022 Brit awards, and Grennan was also nominated for Best Rock/ Alternative Act.

His success continued when he collaborated with Ella Henderson on the release of Lets Go Home Together which also reached the top 10.

He presented Radio 1's Future Sounds Show 2021 alongside Olly Alexander, YUNGBLUD, Charli XCX and Arlo Parks.

He performed at BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend in Coventry in May 2022.

Grennan released his third album What Ifs & Maybes in the second quarter of 2023.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun ahead of the celebrity football match at Chelsea’s Stanford Bridge, he said: "Fitness wise, I feel athletic in my mind and athletic in my body!

"I feel like prime Ronaldo moving to Real Madrid!

"I haven't done any football training yet but I'm probably the fittest I've ever been.

"I just did the London Marathon and I’ve signed up for an Ironman in October."

Who will manage Tom Grennan's Soccer Aid 2024 football team?

Former Chelsea player Frank Lampard will be one of the managers for the England Soccer Aid team.

Speaking about the football legend, Tom said: "I'm hoping we win, of course. Frank Lampard is managing us.

"I've definitely heard through the grapevine that he’s going to whip us into shape early doors!"

Frank will also be co-managing alongside Harry Redknapp and Robbie Williams.
