A DIY fan has revealed how she gave her home a luxury-inspired upgrade using affordable Dollar Tree buys.

She explained that she was able to recreate home decor that rivals Tom Ford without the hefty price tag.

Essence (@enhancedbyessence) shared the Dollar Tree DIY tips in a viral TikTok video.

"Girl, you do not have to spend a lot of money on luxury decor," she said.

She went on a shopping trip to her local Dollar Tree and picked up fake pink flowers, a gift box, and some Styrofoam for $1.25 apiece.

The supplies cost her a grand total of just $3.75.

Back home, she laid out all the supplies on her porch and began to spray her gift box with some black paint.

She noted that viewers can opt for whatever color their heart desires.

Next, she spray-painted her plastic flowers a deeper shade of pink.

Essence opened the gift box, stuffed it full of styrofoam, and placed the trimmed flowers she had purchased inside.

Taking a printed-out Tom Ford logo, she pasted it to the front of her gift box with some GOT2B hair spray.

"Y'all, I ran out of glue, but guess what? If it can hold down a wig, it can hold down some paper," she joked.

"Miss Boujee on a budget."

People thanked her for the creative project idea and praised her on-the-spot thinking.

"That G2B took me out, but hey, it worked," said one commenter.
