It’s such an unflattering look, and often no amount of desperate hair spraying and shaking it around can fix it.

But one canny influencer has come up with a genius quick fix – and it requires nothing but a headband and a hairdryer.
Samira Safi is a beauty and fashion content creator based in Hamburg, Germany, and has also founded her own jewellery brand Luisant Atelier.
The stunner has racked up 927k followers on Instagram, where she posts pictures of her gorgeous outfits and pretty accessories.
And in a recent video, she delighted viewers with a clever tip to help banish flat hair for good.
In the caption, Samira addressed followers who want “to get volume in three minutes”.
She began by patting down her lank locks, before placing a thick headband and resting it round her neck.
The glam influencer then grabbed a fine tooth comb and sprayed it with hairspray, before brushing it in a backward direction.
After sweeping her tresses back, Samira then pushed the thick headband in place, securing it just behind her hairline with her locks pressed back behind it.

She then doused her barnet with another layer of hairspray, and once again combed it back towards the headband.
The final stage was to blast her locks with a hairdryer directed at the headband, so the heat could mould the hair into position.
Samira finally removed the headband, showing off heaps more volumes at the roots as he gorgeous locks cascaded down.
Shaking off her mane, it was unrecognisable from the flat tresses at the start of the video.
The clip racked up a huge 580k likes, with viewers taking to the comments to share their thanks for the uber-helpful suggestion.
“Wonderful hack,” one fan wrote.
“You’re a lifesaver for this,” another gushed.
It’s not the only hair hack to wow social media users recently.
