Biden, 81, remained defiant despite gaffes early on in the Nato speech - but it didn't stop viewers from calling out his ailing appearance.

"What’s up with Biden’s chin," asked one user on X.

"Does Biden have a new chin," questioned another.

This isn't the first time people have questioned the president's physical appearance.

Last week, Biden came under fire for appearing orange in a Trump-like spray tan during his interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos.

“Biden also appeared, somewhat humorously, in Trump-style makeup, after appearing white as mumbly ghost during the debate,” X user Mollie Hemington said in a post following the speech.

"Biden should never borrow Trump's fake tan," wrote one viewer on X.

Many experts allege the president has had various plastic surgeries since first taking office at the age of 78, including a facelift, brow lift, and even a hair transplant.

Surgeons claim his appearance began to noticeably change during the 2008 presidential campaign when he was Barack Obama's vice president.

Biden has not confirmed or denied any speculation of cosmetic procedures.

“I would estimate that Joe Biden would’ve spent up to $100,000 in today’s dollars on plastic surgery if he were to have undergone these procedures here in Beverly Hills,” Dr. Gary Motykie, a well-known surgeon claimed to Jam Press.

BIDEN'S SPEECH

Biden addressed the nation on Thursday to try and prove he is fit to serve as commander-in-chief for another four years.

The president closed out the three-day Nato summit in Washington DC, with a rare solo press conference in front of all 32 allied countries.

Biden's speech started almost an hour late after several previous pushbacks.

How could Biden be removed from race?

Calls for Joe Biden to end his reelection campaign have mounted since his poor presidential debate night performance on June 27

After the debate, the 81-year-old president's cognitive health concerns were once again a pressing topic among news outlets and his allies in the Democratic Party.

What has Joe Biden said about his future in the race?

  • Biden has remained defiant and shot down calls for him to step aside in the upcoming presidential election.
  • The Biden administration was forced to deny reports that the president confided to a close ally that he is considering withdrawing from the race.
  • In a July 5 interview with ABC News, Biden said that "no one is more qualified" to win the race than him, adding only the "Lord Almighty" could convince him to resign.
  • On July 8, Biden sent a scathing letter to Congressional DNC members who have called on him to step down.
  • "I want you to know that despite all the speculation in the press and elsewhere, I am firmly committed to staying in this race, to running this race to the end, and to beating Donald Trump," the president wrote.
  • Biden proceeded to slam "elites" in a live interview with MSNBC, daring any challenger to run against him.

How could Joe Biden be removed from the ballot?

  • Since the June 27 debate night, a growing number of Congressional Democrats have called on Biden to end his reelection campaign.
  • So far, five out of the 213 DNC members in Congress have publicly called for Biden to quit the race.
  • As Biden continues to emphasize his status in the upcoming election, many are wondering whether the 25th Amendment should be used to oust him.

What is the 25th Amendment?

  • The 25th Amendment of the Constitution states the vice president shall replace a president if they die in office or resign or if members of the president's cabinet declare the president is unable to fulfill the duties of their office.
  • Labor Secretary Julie Su, who would need to invoke the 25th Amendment, called the idea "absurd."

Originally scheduled for 2:30 pm, the speech was pushed to 5:30 pm and then 6:30 pm, but Biden didn't take the stage until 7:28 pm.

The president began by recapping the history of Nato before explaining that the situation in Ukraine is exactly why the alliance exists.

When asked by reporters if he believed Kamala Harris could beat Trump if she were on Ticket instead of him, Biden called Harris "Vice President Trump" before saying he wouldn't have chosen her if he thought she wasn't qualified.

Despite his praises for Vice President Harris, Biden also said he continues to believe that he is the best, most qualified, and most likely candidate to beat Trump and have a successful presidency.

Biden then attacked Donald Trump's stance on the alliance, saying the former president has "no commitment to NATO," and that he has already given Putin - who Biden called a "murderous madman" - the green light to continue his invasion.

He also attacked Trump's proposed 10% tariffs on all imports, saying it would result in an extra $2,500 being spent per American citizen.

Biden also went into issues at the border, ceasefire efforts in Israel, abortion, gun control, and more.

"Control guns, not girls," the president said in his speech.

"More children are killed by a bullet than by any other cause of death," Biden exclaimed at the podium.

The president concluded and then took questions from reporters.

Before ending his press conference, Biden addressed concerns about his age one last time, telling skeptical voters who are unsure who to vote for, to simply "listen to [Trump]."
