What is Moms for Liberty?

Moms for Liberty is an American political organization founded in 2021 by Tina Descovich, Tiffany Justice, and Bridget Ziegler.

The organization describes itself as a group of people who "stand up for parental rights at all levels of government."

Although all three founders are registered as Republicans, they each have claimed that the organization is non-partisan.

The group campaigned against Covid-19 responses in schools like wearing masks and vaccine mandates.

Former President Donald Trump said the group is "the best thing that’s ever happened to America."

However, in 2023, the Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization that tracks extremists, called them a far-right extremist organization.
