NFL Network insiders Ian Rapaport and Mike Garafolo were on live television to report about the Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver Tee Higgins requesting a trade from the team.

The 25-year-old received the franchise tag from the Bengals but hasn't had discussions with team when it comes to a long-term extension.

During the live TV sequence, Rapaport was awkwardly looking at his laptop as Garafalo attempted to move on to another topic.

But NFL Network reporter Tom Pelissero, who wasn't visible on the camera, interrupted Garafolo as both talked over each other for a brief moment.

Pelissero then admitted, "Never mind, that was me" as he was still not shown on the camera.

Garafolo then smiled as host Andrew Siciliano and the three insiders were all seen at their different locations.

But Pelissero joked about himself previously not being shown on live television while he was speaking.

"Ian's not paying attention," he said. "I'm talking and I'm not even on the screen."

"It's the voice of God Mike!"

Peliserro then admitted that the NFL free agency week "has been a long couple of days."

The NFL's tampering began on Monday at 12 pm ET.

It was the unofficial start of free agency for the 2024 league year.

Plenty of unofficial NFL signings happened on Monday, including former Minnesota Vikings star quarterback Kirk Cousins penning a four-year deal the Atlanta Falcons.

NFL free agency will officially begin on Wednesday at 4 pm ET.
