Nearly a month ago, on March 4, the 13-year NFL veteran Kelce announced his retirement from the NFL in an emotional press conference.

Now, he's adjusting to his new life as a celebrity in Philadelphia.

Before taking the mound to throw the first pitch in front of the Phillies sell-out crowd at Citizens Bank Park for the second game of their MLB season, Kelce took a second to pose with his wife for the memorable moment.

The couple were all smiles, decked out in red, white, and blue Phillies gear for the affair.

Earlier in the week, Kelce claimed he couldn't throw and was dealing with an arm injury, but no matter went out and delivered the first pitch.

Side by side with Cox, the two both delivered the first pitch simultaneously.

However, the two opted for different methods.

Kelce wound up and threw a direct line drive, just barely missing the ground.

Meanwhile, Cox opted for an alternative method, lofting the ball to home base in a much softer, more conservative approach.

Despite their differences, both pitches crossed home plate as the crowd rejoiced.

'I wouldn't advise him to go there', Jason Kelce warned against taking ESPN live TV broadcast role in post-NFL career

Kylie watched her husband's ceremonial first pitch with Cox's wife Kaycee Marchette and a special guest: the Phillies mascot, the Phillie Phanatic.

After being honored on the mound, the Kelce's took their seats ultimately to watch the Phillies fall 12-4 and 0-2 in the standings.

As for Kelce and a potential new career in the media, so far he's yet to commit to anything.

The Athletic reports the former Eagles center is being "aggressively pursued" by ESPN to join its Monday Night football cast.

For now, Kelce will continue to release new episodes of his New Heights Show with his brother and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis.
