CHELSEA fans were loving Enzo Fernandez last night as the Argentine tormented former team-mate Mason Mount.

Mount, 25, made his first return to Stamford Bridge since completing a £60million move to Manchester United last summer.

The Cobham graduate assisted the winning goal in the 2021 Champions League final, but faced a hostile welcome back from his old fans.

Mount was booed by Chelsea supporters every time he touched the ball.

At one point during his cameo, the England international had the ball kicked off him by Fernandez.

The duo momentarily went head-to-head, before Mount shoved the Argentine, 23, away.

Another of his former team-mates Noni Madueke then put his hand on Mount, before also being pushed aside.

After seeing the flashpoint unfold, one fan called Fernandez "proper Chels".

While a second gushed: "That's my star boy."

And another added: "If he wasn’t on a yellow he wasn’t letting that slide."

Later on, Fernandez could also be seen tapping the Chelsea badge on his chest in Mount's direction.

Mount came on for Alejandro Garnacho in the 86th minute with his side leading 3-2.

Erik ten Hag reacts to Man Utd's dramatic collapse in 4-3 defeat to Chelsea

Disaster struck for Erik ten Hag's side in the dying embers of the match, with a quickfire Cole Palmer double in the 100th and 101st minutes somehow consigning the Red Devils to defeat.

After the game, Ten Hag fumed: "You have to do your job, you have to make the right decisions, and we didn't react quick enough to avoid this situation.

“We dominated the game, especially our wide players were a danger: Garnacho, Antony.

“We have to make better decisions. You saw how we score from counters. We can be such a massive threat and we've seen again today an example.

“But we have to read when to keep the ball, especially when you are winning. Keep the ball, pass and move and switch the play instead of giving it way.”
