Inside Klay Thompson’s $700k car collection including classic 1960s Lincoln Continental and fleet of Mercedes
KLAY Thompson is known for his love of boats - but the NBA star also has an amazing car collection.
The Golden State Warriors legend has been nicknamed Captain Klay for his frequent trips across the San Francisco Bay on his boat.
On dry land, Thompson has an amazing fleet of cars thanks to an ambassador role with Mercedes-Benz.
The NBA icon has starred in several commercials for the German car manufacturer.
He has also used his $266 million career earnings to add to his epic garage with a classic car from the 1960s.
Mercedes-Benz G-Class Wagon
Thompson has numerous Mercedes in his collection, including a G-Class Wagon.

He posted an epic video of himself driving around California in the $139,000 car.
"Road trippin in the Wagon: Spanish style," Thompson captioned the video.
It has a standard 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that can produce 416 horsepower.
The G-Class can reach 0 to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds.
2023 Mercedes AMG-EQE
In January, Thompson arrived at the Chase Center in his 2023 Mercedes AMG-EQE.
And he locked the car with a cool behind-the-back move in front of the cameras.
The electric mid-sized sedan retails for around $106,000.
It can go from 0-60mph in just 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 130 mph.
Mercedes S-Class
Thompson showed off the S-Class in a 2021 commercial.
The car has an amazing voice-activated technology setup.
"Hey Mercedes, what's my name?" Thompson asks the car in another ad spot.
"Klay 'nothing but net' Thompson," the car responds to Thompson's approval
The luxury technology-infused sedan costs around $120,000.
Its top speed is 155 miles per hour.
1960s Lincoln Continental
Thompson channeled the 2003 movie 'Old School' while showing off his convertible Lincoln Continental on Instagram.
He captioned the post with Will Ferrell’s character's line: “She’s not exactly street legal, Hey Mike!”
It is unclear exactly when Thompson's car was made.
The car is certainly not as fast as others in the NBA star's garage but his Lincoln has plenty of vintage charm.
It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 10.2 seconds and reaches a top speed of 118 mph.
BMW i8 Roadster
Thompson has been spotted out and about many times in his white BMW i8 Roadster.
It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 2.9 seconds en route to a top speed of 191 mph.

Thompson also owns a Land Rover Range Rover Velar.
